"This is a small landing with access to the St. Jones River. There is limited parking and virtually no trailer parking. In August 2023, the boat ramp was so muddy it made launching a kayak very difficult. I couldn't launch from the dock as fishermen had the tackle boxes strewn all over. It's was a little over an 8 mile paddle down stream to the Delaware Bay. High Tide here is roughly 2.5 to 3 hours after the Murderkill River entrance high tide. If you're paddling, a 1 to 2 knot current should be taken into consideration. Arriving early is your best option for a parking space during the summer season. Lastly, I did not notice any restroom facilities being available."
"Would give five stars except there is no restroom. Scotten landing a few miles away does have one. Not sure why DENREC doesn't provide one at every boat ramp....They definitely should!"
"It's a very nice spot to go fishing and crabbing. The pier its self is not huge. It has a boat slip recommended for kayaks and skin. It could sure use a porta John."
"Nice place to go clear the old head. Even in feburary lol help to rejuvenate me for next part thanks #enjoytheview"
"One of many fishing spots kept up nicely in Delaware. If you do not believe climate change is real, stay away in your make-believe world and don't go there at any high tide - the water regularly submerges the walk. Better crabbing than fishing, but very relaxing."
