"We spent a weekend here for my nephews Grad school graduation in December. Nicole at the front desk was polite and tremendously accommodating. She put us in a beautiful room, gave us tons of recommendations to local attractions in the area. She also recommended the Hyatt’s on site restaurant the Light House to finish our day on Saturday with a beautiful sunset. Cant say enough about the staff, clean rooms and onsite accommodations. Nicole was there all weekend and treated us like VIP’s the entire stay. We plan on coming back to stay again."

"The hotel is well kept and clean but a little dated. Looks like they are getting ready to do a renovation so it should be even nicer. Great location for a quick getaway during the off season. Would definitely come back."

"The staff was very nice. The area is wonderful. But the rooms are structurally poor. It's VERY noisy. From the room I could easily hear the elevators, doors slamming and voices in the next room. The bathroom had a heavy glass "blast door" which looked cool, but at 2:30 in the morning was not appreciated. Now, I am NOT technologically impaired, but I found the TV to be a real pain in the neck. The hotel offered to help, but I declined as we were already dressed for sleep. I ultimately figured out the non-intuitive device. The bed was not very firm and the "nightstands" were just permanent shelves attached to the wall. I hit my arm on it several times. Access to the restaurant in the back was from the outside only. Stupid design. The bathroom had good hot water and the room was clean. That's about all I can say. At the end of the day, this is just an expensive 2 star hotel. The area is very nice, but save yourself some money and avoid this place."

"My family stayed in June and now it is October and my six-year-old is still talking about it. We stayed for five days over the summer and had an absolute blast. The hotel is located one block from the beach and it’s on the bay waterfront. You get the sunrise and sunset over the water! We loved the horseshoe crabs in the bay, orange, crushes in the lobby, and swimming in both pools. The indoor pool is great for after breakfast, when it is still chilly outside. The outdoor pool is best before dinner and a movie. We will definitely be back!"

"Would strongly recommend not wasting your money on this place. My room smelled horrible upon entry. The carpet was damp (odd they use carpet for a beach hotel anyway) and the whole room had an overwhelming mildew smell. Mold was visible on the ceiling. So I called down to switch rooms and I was told they were fully booked and the best they could do is send someone up to look at it. I waited for over an hour and a half and no one came. Other less important complaints but worth mentioning: The sheets on the bed were horrible. Scratchy and didn’t fit the bed properly so the fitted sheet came off every night. They allow pets there and a dog in the room across from me barked 24/7. The walls are so thin that it was PIERCING and woke me up every morning. It states they have a pool but it’s only a gross indoor one. The outdoor pool is only for certain units in the hotel/building. Massive disappointment. For $470/night, I expect to not inhale toxins during my stay. Tried to discuss with Katie, the assistant manager about this but after 4 attempts of contact, it’s clear they are not interested in resolving issues."
