"Used to be a wonderful place to find all sorts of treasures at low prices. Now since the Pandemic they have stopped accepting pretty much everything valuable (ceiling fans, appliances older than 10 years, any sort of vintage collectible items). Shame, I thought their goal was to keep things out of landfills. I used to love volunteering here and helping fix up the lighting and fan section. The prices have also gone way up since 2020.Thankfully Second Chance still accepts these things but is really the only place to go to find any vintage appliances."
"Great for finding older pieces of furniture, light fixtures, pre-made paint and area rugs. You can donate here, too."
"You can get building materials cheap. You may have to look around but it's well worth the trip. They have an assortment of lovely furniture and used appliances. They have lighting fixtures, cabinets, commodes, sinks and some bath tubs. They have an area upstairs for china, crystal, bric brac, books, paintings, carpets and more."
"Get place to stop in and check what inventory they have in stock. Perfect furniture to restore for home use or other. Recently found a wood armoire that will be perfect for my bedroom. Refinishing it right now with chalk paint. You can see the some progress in the pics below. Can't wait for the final product. They have other types of furniture, flooring ...and other home goods/accessories as well. Very reasonable prices."
"My friend told me about this store because I lost everything having to move from an abusive home. Saying that I Love This Store is an understatement. The furniture prices...well, you have to see them to believe them! I furnished a three bedroom house with under $1000! The best part is 100% of the proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity! It's a win-win."
