"I had the opposite experience from other reviewers. First of all, they had exactly the features I needed in stainless-steel legs, different heights and different adjustments, all very well explained on their website. They shipped quickly, and I found the prices quite reasonable. I bought different types, many of them. The carpenter made some errors and we had exchanges, additional shipments, etc. KE Hardware was VERY flexible and accommodating, I can't imagine better customer service. Highly recommended."

"Found some furniture legs. Had to pay high shipping cost but no biggie. Legs didn't match so had to send them back. They insist on collecting a 20% re-stocking fee. So I pay $14 to get them shipped, spend another $14 to send them back, and these greedy scumbags want to keep another $14. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY."

Because of that, we had requested an exchange for some taller furniture legs. He was told by KE that the order was outside the 21 day exchange policy (by a couple of weeks), and that they would not exchange the items. I understand that business need to have polices in place, but I am also aware of many companies that are willing to make exceptions (esp. in this case where it's an exchange for a very similar item) and KE is not one of those. Again, I know we're asking for an exception, but it seems like a reasonable request. It also sounds like they have refused to respond to a second inquiry, so it's obvious that they're not too concerned with return business. There are too many retailers with better polices and customer care to risk using KE Hardware."
