"My family and I stay here and have been here for the past 10 years. Great seasonal stays for your 5th wheel or trailer. The pool and lake are refreshing on hot summer days and it’s great for kids. Home away from home."
"We have stayed here several times over the years when it was a KOA. We do love it here. Sun retreats seem to be taking care of the place. Unfortunately it's mostly permanent sites. They are keeping the pull through sites for booked stays. Sad as These will be booked instantly. Will need to plan stays a year in advance."
"This was a beautiful campground, close to the shore, with wonderful amenities. Unfortunately, the bathrooms were extremely dirty our entire stay, the shower stalls had nowhere to set anything down, and our three campsites were littered with broken glass, fishing hooks, and cigarettes. The worst part about this campground though was the lack of rule enforcement. We tried to enjoy the dog park, but a guest brought an aggressive dog and yelled at everyone who tried to enter the park. She basically used the dog park as her personal dog run with an unsafe dog even though the rules clearly state that aggressive dogs are NOT permitted. I'd bet they're not permitted in the campground in general either but... Quiet hours were from 11 pm to 8 am, but the tent sites and seasonal campers right by the Welcome Center kept the party going all night long. It's a campsite; I understand people are there to have a good time, but the noise was unbearable. We had music blasting all around us 24/7 (no exaggeration), our site neighbor had Netflix going all throughout the night, and the seasonals were having karaoke that could probably be heard all the way from the Wildwoods. Our surrounding sites seemed to all be together and continuously walked through our site, had house lamps and flood lights blaring 24/7, and unleashed dogs barking nonstop. They also shaved and bathed completely naked during daylight hours at the site spigots. We brought our concerns to the office after our first night's stay and they told us all of the above was in violation of the campsite rules. We were assured that they would have security patrol our area during quiet hours, but no one showed up the entire 4 days. The partying continued for our whole stay and we left exhausted and dissatisfied. DO NOT COME TO THIS CAMPGROUND IF YOUR GOAL IS TO RELAX AND UNPLUG."
"We stayed here and it was very nice. I had read a couple bad reviews but the problems were unfounded. The staff was very friendly, our campsite was great. The water was good. The bathrooms were fine. The pool was nice ,the lake was fun.All in all great campsite. Close to Crest Wildwood, Cape May n The Ferry. Was great."
"My family and I just returned home from a 6 night stay . This was our third year in a row staying here and all three of our experiences have been good ! The RV sites are all very good sizes and are easily accessible. During all three of our stays the campground has been pleasantly peaceful and quiet throughout the evening hours which we greatly appreciate . It’s a convenient short distance to both Cape May and Wildwood . The dog park is decent sized , fenced and very well shaded . Admittedly we don’t spend a whole lot of time at the campground during our trips and haven’t had the opportunity to take part in any of their offered activities ( although we have used the pool a few times ) we also don’t use the bathhouses / bathrooms etc so I can’t rate or give reviews of those things . In summary This campground suits our wants and needs for our annual beach trip very well and they do offer a Veteran discount which I always appreciate . We look forward to returning again"
