"I absolutely LOVE this place. The rooms are very cozy, and I like the beachy feel. It even has a small kitchen. The prices are Great, and they don't charge very much extra for pets. They only charge for a pet room. The staff is also very nice and very helpful. It's located in a nice, secluded place. It has tables and chairs for outside smoking in a nice little area. What a find. If you are looking for a nice and also reasonably priced motel, this is the place."
"This is usually our go to spot when we visit in the off-season. We tend to rent a room in December and then in March or April (or both). The rooms are perfect for my husband and I along with our midsize dog. I'm looking forward to see what they do with the place while it is closed for renovations this winter 2023/2024."
"Hate to report this but stayed there 2 weeks ago for one night and got eaten up by bed bugs!!! Never had one before in my life but it was confirmed by a doctor. The place refuses to acknowledge this. There was absolutely no other way I could have gotten them. Room 32. My mother-in-law was in the other bed and also got bitten, not as severe as mine. I had at least 30-35 bites on one arm and then forehead, feet legs and back . Please be aware! I am really surprised at the lack of concern for this matter on their part."
"Close to the beach and downtown area. The pool was clean and pretty. The room was a typical beach hotel room. We had a fridge, and microwave - even plates etc. The beds weren't that comfortable. The entire first floor was pet friendly, which was nice that we didn't need to walk our dog up the stairs."
"When assessing Cape May lodging, time of year and location vs. price are the keys. This was a bargain for our stay. We spent 3 nights here, mid-July. Room reflected the decent price for summer; was very basic. But it was clean, with comfortable beds, with daily service. Just enough on-site parking, but there is overflow on the street, which isn’t busy. Pool is big enough and nicely maintained, and there is a good size barbecue area with a few tables and a Weber grill. No, it’s not beachfront; it’s three or four short blocks to the beach, and Harry’s at the end of the street (Madison) is a decent happy hour destination that also does breakfast. Washington mall is walkable if fit, 3 or 4 long blocks away but there is lots of metered parking along the way, too. Glad we saved a few bucks on the front end here because nothing comes cheaply in summer. It was a quality stay."
