Nock Apartments

"This place came in a clutch after our Airbnb was found to have dog hair everywhere (allergic child). So yes, the rooms are small and it's window box units, and the furniture and fixings are older. To my other non-allergc child's despair there was no wifi. It is not one of those places that gives you all the bells and whistles like a hotel, BUT the beds are comfortable, the sheets were clean, the bathroom was scrubbed, the beach is RIGHT THERE. And there was a personal touch, I had lamented to why we were searching for a space last minute, the owner made sure the room we were in had minimal dog exposure (they accept dogs but somehow it was cleaner than the place that didn't -riddle me that). So all in all they saved our vacation!"

"My wife and I drove down with our 2 fur babies and had such a good time!!! We turned our 2 nights into 4 nights and never wanted to leave, we had the efficiency and was very roomy 2 large double beds small kitchenette with tv and plenty of room for our 85 and 65 lb dogs to play, deck was shared with another unit and was still amazing! We braught a baby gate to let the dogs chill out on the porch and enjoy themselves, i did get nervous bc my dogs bark alot but had no issues!! , we were informed ahead of time exactly what to bring, room was very clean and I'm a perfectionist, can't wait to go back, Angelo was amazing!! My wife and I had so much privacy and couldn't ask for a better place to stay!!"

"Do not recommend. There were ants on my daughters bed, nothing extra to restock with (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags). No cleaning service! For such a tight parking lot, there should be a valet service! The owner was only available to collect the deposit & he wasn’t there for me to check out so getting the deposit back was a gamble! The room was filthy when I arrived, especially the carpet. When I noticed I accidentally wet the pillow i saw black dots (mold) ALL OVER. DISGUSTING! The boardwalk/beach was only a minute away, thank god!"

"We had a pleasant experience here, the location was fantastic being so close to the boardwalk, the owner helped us when we arrived because parking is extremely limited on site and only one spot is allotted per apartment, but we were able to pay for an additional spot a block away and it was much easier to move that vehicle for outings anyway. We knew in advance to bring our own bedding (some was provided but we opted for our own pillows sheets and blankets anyway.) the apartment itself was pretty small and with 5 adults it was definitely tight. Hanging out inside was not really a comfortable option, but we really only needed a place to sleep and shower. It is pet friendly and we saw lots of folks with their pets in tow which is so nice to see, we had planned to bring our dog but after seeing that dogs are not permitted on the beach or boardwalk in the summer we changed our mind - and it was the right call, our apartment was much too small to also accommodate a dog. Bed was comfortable, water was hot, owner was friendly and helpful. It did feel a bit like a bare minimum accommodation but honestly I have no complaints, if you don’t need to spend a lot of time in the apartment and plan to be out and about, the location is worth it!"

"I can’t say enough nice things about The Nock Apartments. The rooms are spotless. The owners and their son are personable, helpful, down to earth and go above and beyond. This is our third year staying with them and we’ll definitely be back!"
