"My wife and I moved here back in 2018, recently married and fresh out of college. This place will always be very special to me because it’s my little one’s first home (: first pool memory, first playground memory, first bike ride memory..the list goes on and these things are priceless and special to a proud daddy like me. We loved Blue Hen so much when we needed more space we even stayed in the complex and just upgraded to a bigger spot. Liz and Darien are awesome and a great team, and are always willing to listen to you and try to help you out. A special shout out goes to my boy Slim, hands down the best maintenance professional I’ve ever met! He goes above and beyond every time, and needs to be thanked more by residents in my opinion. I’ve enjoyed my time and experience here so much that I’ve never hesitated to refer friends, and even family; and I’ll gladly continue doing so. A couple of days ago we officially moved out of Blue Hen and into our new home, after 5 years of living there. I never felt like I was “throwing money away” because I’m renting an apartment..not just because of how nice the complex is, but mainly because of how my family and I were treated the entire time; no money wasted there in my opinion. So thank you for everything Village at Blue Hen, for being the setting and backdrop of the very beginning of my little family’s story, and for letting us call you home for the past 5 years "

"We've lived here just under a year and it's been absolutely amazing. The apartments are clean and pest free, the neighbors are great, the management is awesome and the maintenance team goes above and beyond. They are newer, nicer, and cheaper than the majority of apartments in the area. We've lived in apartments across the United States and this has been by far the best experience. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone."

"Don't live there went to visit a friend. I must say it's a nice place quiet. The apartment is amazing and spacious. I must say From NYC to Dover DE is a big difference quiet clean. Shopping near is a good thing. Not gonna lie I would love to move there. They always say go out to place at night and on a weekend to see how a place is. Went there on a Saturday on a afternoon very quiet. Would love to know how the rent is. What may get you is the utilities but look like a safe quiet neighborhood."

"We lived here for a year. It is a quiet community. The apartments are spacious, clean and well maintained. The maintenance people are responsible and respectful. There is ample parking space in the community if not in front of your building (there usually is). The only downside is, they are a bit strict about the lease, which is understandable. I recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good neighbors and a well maintained place."

"We moved in recently and are impressed with the grounds. It's nicely kept and really pretty! It's also very quiet, peaceful and no crime that we've noticed. I've never seen a cop here. Maintenance is fast and super nice. The apartment is very nice, beautiful fireplace, lots of cupboard space. The only downside so far is the thin walls...I am anxious about my toddler being too loud and bothering others. We were hanging pictures at 4 in the afternoon yesterday and the neighbor was banging on the wall so that's frustrating but overall it's great. We really do love it here."
