The Heritage Inn

"Rooms spotless,clean and fresh. Service is great. Check in was a breeze. The beach and promenade are right across the street. Restaurants, Ice cream shops,and a kids arcade are all right there,so it's great if you have kids or grand kids in tow! Definitely going to return!"

"Room was adequate in size but the walls are paper thin. Bed was not that comfortable and the condensation from the AC unit dripped onto the middle of the bathroom floor making it slippery. The shower tub did not drain well and the tub filled up quite fast as you shower. We notified the front desk but nothing was done. We brought it up again when we checked out and they said they would bring a snake to fix it. The only positive thing is the location."

"Rooms are a bit tired to be honest but served their purpose as somewhere to sleep - all a bit dark. The front desk were great but the verbal mouthful we got from our cleaner for leaving slightly late on our last day of 4 over shadowed this. Location is great right across from beach entrance. Rooftop has a great view but cushions for the seats/sun beds would have helped enormously!"

"Located in a busy section of Cape May. Be ready to climb the "alps" if you want a room with a view---at least 2 long staircases--Hertiage Inn HAS NO ELEVATOR! AIR CONDITIONER IS ON AND OFF LOUDLY! POOL is small."

"There are no words to explain how wonderful The Heritage Inn is. We first met Gwen in 2017 when we arrived on a rushed trip when my husband was told to do whatever he could in his short time left. Everyone was booked when we arrived in Cape May. We were sent to The Heritage Inn as a last chance. When we arrived, Gwen greeted us with compassion and miraculously made a room available and got us access to a wheelchair. We have since stayed 2 more times since his passing and, each time, greeted like family. You can't ask for a better location where you can park your car and walk where you want to go. The beach and Convention Hall are across the street as well as arcades, shops and restaurants. Next block over you will find putt putt. Washington Street Mall is within walking distance or rent bikes or a surry (sp?) and enjoy a scenic ride, which can be rented just around the corner, on same block. Let's not forget the pool which is very clean and the roof deck where you can relax on the lounge chairs anytime day or night. If you don't know where to go for something, ask at the office. They are willing to make your stay the best it can be. The only downfall is we can't go more often. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything you need while there. Service is great!"
