"My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay here. We went in mid August for a vacation and to celebrate our anniversary ( we even received an anniversary card from the staff). The room was very clean and cozy but not cramped and the private patio was very nice too. All of the staff were absolutely pleasant and helpful (including Jack who could easily be a tour guide for what to do and where to go in the region). Next time we go to Dewey we will definitely return to the Bay Resort."
"We've been coming to this hotel for 3 years now and sitting in a Bay view room watching the water and the sunset every day is my favorite thing. I cannot imagine us trying to stay at a different hotel for any future vacation in the area. I really love the pool and the rooms. The beds are nice and the couch is surprisingly nice to accidentally nap on. Love this hotel."
"Came here for the first time as a last minute decision for my husband and I to spend our Anniversary at. Well no disappointment whatsoever. We will definitely be back!!! I definitely recommend the Bayside...it's such a beautiful view. So relaxing!!"
"The location is great because has a great pool, located on the bay and just a 2 block walk from the ocean. Great pier on the bay with Adirondack chairs to sit and relax and can rent paddle boards and canoes to use on the bay from right in back of hotel. There are many great restaurants and ice cream shops walking distance from hotel so you literally can park your car at the hotel and not have to drive for days. There is free parking at hotel which is great because you need to pay to park at beach or on streets. The rooms are a good size with 2 double beds, a small kitchenette, tv, table and chairs and a balcony also with table and chairs. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and staff very helpful if anything is needed."
"Our family of 5 just got home from our first family vacation together. It was full of tears, panic attacks, and minor injuries, but you know what made it all better?? Staying at this amazing hotel. From the first step into the reception area where we were greeted by the ever so kind Bailey (who supplied our kids with about 50 band aids and lollipops), to the amazing hotel staff and the guests...yes, the guests. It was like staying at a huge house with a bunch of friends because everyone there is so friendly and kind. Our kids went out to the pier everyday to catch minnows and crab watch. They made friends with the other kids staying there. The pool is the perfect size and was supplied with pool noodles and towels. There was fresh popcorn in the lobby along with a coffee machine (yes, the good creamer, too). Our room faced the bay so we got to see the stunning sunset every night and we're greeted with the seagulls in the morning. The room was also freezing cold, which I LOVED. There is a paddle board rental steps away from the back and chairs and loungers to watch the water. I can't say enough about how beautiful the view was. We were about 2 blocks from the beach and right next to a convenience store and great restaurants. I can't wait to come back here next year with our family and make this place a tradition that they will remember for years to come!"
