"Great location. Room walls are paper thin. Furniture is made of some plastic material. Mattresses slide all over the beds. Not to mention that the indoor pool is closed for the winter. Swimming was a large part of our planned winter vacation. When we asked that our second planned night be refunded mere minutes after paying for it, we were told that we could not be issued one because “the website indicated the pool was closed.” Clearly, the website did not indicate this obviously, and the staff refused to accommodate our very reasonable request. To cancel one of our two nights, so that we could book a new hotel with a pool. Strongly recommend that you stay away from this hotel what apparently hates there customers."
"This hotel is a walk from the beach and tons of restaurants/gift shops. On the same street is even a bike rentals. They have an indoor pool on the roof, and provide towels specifically for the pool. The rooms were bright and clean, very nice to stay in. The bathroom was small, but beautiful. There is a TV in the living room/kitchen area and also one in the bedroom. The lamps all have USB charger ports, so you don't have to worry about bringing your wall charger, too. There is no breakfast available here but next door is a nice diner that we ate at and it was delicious. There is a parking garage at ground level so you dont have to worry about street parking. It was tight, but not unmanagable. Just be cautious when parking. As we were leaving, we noticed there were chairs available to bring down to the beach with you, which would have been nice if it was pointed out to us, since we would have utilized them. Just outside the lobby is also a 'sand recycling center' where you can rinse off your feet. We had a blast. We will definitely come back here again."
"This is a great hotel for families. The rooms are clean, all of the staff are friendly, and the pool is a perfect size for kids that are still learning to swim because it only ranges from 3-4 feet. The only downside to the pool is that it is small, so it gets crowded easily on rainy days when people aren't going to the beach. The room we stayed in had two double beds and a separate living area that had a pull-out couch. The living area also had a small kitchen with a sink, fridge, coffee maker, and microwave, which was great for being able to store and make quick snacks for kids. The location is amazing. It's in the middle of all of the shops and restaurants, and is a block from the beach and boardwalk. You won't have to drive to get anywhere unless you're looking to go shopping at the outlets or another specific activity that is outside of "daily beach-going" activities. My family has stayed at this hotel twice, and we will definitely booking another stay next year."
"If you can't sleep in a hotel, it ruins your vacation. The wall of this hotel must be thin drywall, studs, and thin drywall. I hate to give such a low rating because the service was great, but we just couldn't sleep. From the sounds of it, there were nearly 10 people in the room next to us (a large family). They came in at 11 PM just as we were trying to fall asleep, and the children (yes children) were up yelling and running around and we could hear every word spoken. Then, just as the father called them a bunch of idiots several times and told them to go to sleep around 1 AM, we were able to fall asleep for about an hour until 2 AM. From then until 4 AM, the neighbors on the other side of the wall came to their room and started talking to each other. They weren't even yelling, it was just normal conversation, but we could hear every word. They talked about the weather the next day and what kind of food they'd be up for. Because it was going to be a cold day at the beach they were going over potential non-beach activities, etc. What are we going to do, complain about people having a conversation in the room next to us? Finally, we saw the night owls the next day going into our rooms simultaneously, and they said "Oh, they must be the ones watching Better Call Saul." We were literally watching it at the lowest possible audible volume in our room with subtitles on to be courteous. We will never return to this hotel. At $350 a night, it was hardly a great value."
"The hotel room was nicely furnished but the walls were super thin could pretty much hear anything going on around you whether up, down or side rooms. Service personnel were polite but other than that nothing that really hit it out of the park as far as amenities goes. Location is a block-and-a-half away from the beach and a block away from the main drag connecting to the boardwalk. They have in garage parking to keep you from having to pay while enjoying the local festivities. Don't expect room with an ocean view or breakfast in the morning. They do have a pool it's shallow (3-4 feet) so for families with little ones not able to swim it's nice. overall size though is not very big also have a deck to look out on and lounge. Overall comparing to other places I've stayed I feel firmly it deserves 3 stars if the price were more competitive I think it could have more. Also FYI don't go by what Google has for pricing when searching the hotel you will have a higher price when you call the location."
