"This place was amazing now one of my favorite places to go will return! The bell guy Gus was the best very friendly and personable! Everything was perfect could not have asked for a better place to go for my birthday. From the hot tub in my room to roof top access with 2 hot tubs the views were stunning. Was able to sit on the balcony in my room and watch the waves crash onto the beach it was breathtaking! The parrots I loved moose was funny every time I walked over he would grab hold of my sweatshirt. Everything about this hotel was perfect. Very romantic getaway and will be returning! All the staff was amazing very helpful friendly and personable. They gave me something special for my birthday"

"We have had dinner at their in-house restaurant, Victoria’s, many times over the years. This was our first stay at the hotel over New Years. It was a lovely, relaxing experience. Staff was professional and hospitable. It is an eclectic property, which we thoroughly appreciate and enjoy."

"This was one of the best hotels my family and I have came too. Gus, is simply the best of the best. He made us feel like family and the pool worth the jacuzzi was phenomenal. "The bigger concern with all of these issues is that it has been brought forward and leadership does not care to address. I took my children here and we have many great memories over 20 years. It saddens me that the property and leadership has gone so downhill and does not care to correct. I have brought these concerns up over the last 3 years of stays. The rooms have bed bugs in the sheets. Even after several years of requests for a specific room nothing is honored. We are loyal 20 year guests. The rooms are disgusting. Nothing is upgraded or in good shape. The rooms smell and are very outdated with mold. From a very loyal customer for years that tried to share this feedback prior to posting and was ignored and never accommodated. Don’t ever stay here!!!"

"I would give this place 100 stars if I could. Don't let the Victorian vibe change your mind on booking (photos simply don't do the place justice). This place is quirky and it is magical. The entire hotel is immaculately clean and the staff is super professional and friendly. It has the perfect location. My wife and I had an incredible weekend here. We came for a semi-quiet getaway at the beach and it was just that. For those traveling without kiddos, don't miss out on the rooftop, either! We were lucky that it wasn't too busy and the front desk let us add access on to our stay for a day (even though we weren't on the concierge floor). I've never been so sad to leave a place. Get to know the birds in the lobby. They're adorable :)"
