"I love the brand and have been shopping with them for over 2 plus decades when they were catalog based business only. The stores are a hit or miss when it comes to customer service. But the stores are a good way to feel the fabric or check on a material if you are allergic to it or if it is too heavy or too light. That cannot be gauged via the catalog. The styles and quality of their jackets and select pants is excellent. Some of the jewelry collection is quite unique as well. I am sorry to see the stores close, but I am positive the catalog will survive and hopefully thrive as there are loyal followers--- specially for petite sizes."

"Soft Surrounding filed Chapter 11 and is closing all their stores! I wouldn't order anything from them again. If you order online, you pay for shipping to me and return shipping if you need to return the item. I waited a month for a refund after they received my boots back. I called several times during the month, even spoke to a manager, and they still took their time giving me a credit. Beware!!!"

I called to process a refund and they said they would send me a Return Label but I never received it and until this day I have not been able to obtain a label. So I'm stuck with two dresses that don't fit me. So while their merchandise may be "okay" their service is terrible."
