"I recently interviewed at Burlington for holiday help. I’m also a person who shops here regularly and has spend around $10,000 in this store just this year. I had a great interview so I thought and was even offered the job. I accepted. I was told I would get a hiring packet in via email and it would also have my start date in it and to bring two forms of ID with me on my first day. After my interview not even 10 min after leaving there the manager I interviewed with called me to say we really liked you and and asked if I’d be willing to take on my duties which would give me more hours. He said based on my resume I’m someone they would like to consider for a management position at some point. Fast forward to today about 4 days later and they send me a email telling me they have decided not to bring me on. Who does this to someone? I currently work full time and was looking for holiday work to make Christmas a little easier on myself. It’s not a big deal but I really want to know who does to to people. Do they really think this is professional?? I’m going to contact the corporate office and let them know what happened. I’m also never going to spend another dollar in this establishment. You’d figure a store who said they needed a lot of help would want someone with a good resume line they told me. It’s no sweat off my back and I’ll start shopping somewhere that’s actually clean. This store is always a mess when I’m in there. You have to wait 30-45 min just to check out due to them being under staffed. Clearly I see why this place is such a mess with management like this it’s no wonder they do business like this."
"Great place to get clothes for the whole family and much more. Toys ,gifts, and home goods. This location has so much more than other locations. Save $$ and find name brand stuff for low $$. My go to for the whole family."
