"Employees here are very rude, I asked for something and the lady stated that they didn’t have anymore and walked away with a very disrespectful attitude, as I’m walking around the store found what I asked her before so I proceed to the register to pay and told her that they still had a few item of what I was looking for and she rolled her eyes and kept counting the money she had on her hands… And not to mention the super loud and explicit music they play"
"They close at 9pm and its 8pm and said they weren't letting anyone in anymore. I ask politely if I can speak to the guy cause I didn't understand him and he gave me attitude there was other people shopping inside the store as well ."
"I want to give a one star. However, I absolutely love your clothes. Always fit, always stylish. That is what I went for, so why not a 5 star? Its the staff and the constant flow of disrespectful customers that warranted a low review. Today I was verbally and racial assaulted. Than I was physically assaulted your store #00244 in Holyoke, MA. Now, thats the one on Northampton St. In the Kmart Plaza. They didnt have the location in here. Sorry High St. Before the physical assault: I ignored the womans constant racial slurs and finished my transaction. The operator: 8071YF that was assisting me, asked me in Spanish, if I understood Spanish. I replied, in Spanish that I did and presided to walk to the exit. When I turned around the woman that was being belligerent took one step to her left, than proceeded to shoulder bump me. Than sarcastically said, "Oh sorry" as she continued to walk by. I immediately stopped, looked around to see who was around. Their was no one but the store manager and employee behind the counter. Watching with their jaws dropped. Than I turned to the belligerent racist woman. I said, in a calm voice, "You know what you did". She again was rude.As a woman in my thirties I did not engage and I turned and walked out. She continued to laugh with staff and talk in Spanish about the "Perra blanca". I got to my car than I ended up walking back. To make a formal complaint. The Manager on duty stated she didn't see anything and she isn't in control of her customers and I was asked to leave. I refused and demanded to speak to someone who is above her. The manger on duty did make a call and I spoke to a woman on the phone. She stated that her DM was out but I believe she said she was regional. I could be mistaken about that detail. Very helpful woman and she did sound concerned. I am happy that someone within the company doesn't condone this activity. Now, is this a big deal? Maybe not. Their are horrible ppl everywhere. However, I always seem to have a higher amount of these encounters when I walk through Rainbows. Which ever store I go to in my region, it does't matter. For that, I have to say goodbye. I mean, am I supposed to go to a "White" Rainbows? I am married to a Hispanic and was raised with immigrants from an island in the Mediterranean. I believe in equality and what civil rights stand for. I would like Rainbows to stand with me and the many of us from all different nations that just want to wear something nice without fear of discrimination! I only wanted to get a pretty dress for my daughters 4th grade graduation. I didn't think I would be entering a war zone to shop. The sad thing is, this is not the first time, this exact same thing happened in the same exact store just a year before."
"Honestly one of the best Rainbow stores around. It is very clean and spacious. The clothes are organized and very easy to look at. Their customer service was OKAY. No one would ask you if you need any help but yet no one is rude if you ask for help. Over all I would recommend it for fairly priced clothes."
