"The rent has gone up drastically however the complex does not provide sufficient amenities to warrant the increase. There is a raggedy playscape on one property. A gym, with 2 treadmills on another property, which is inconvenient for tenants the majority of their other properties and basement clubhouse in their office, which is rarely staffed , that can only be accessed from 9-5. The snow removal is null and void (i.e., they come after you have shoveled yourself out). They don't respond to maintenance calls in a timely manner. My hot water tank was leaking they told me it was my problem and i correctly reminded them that it was wasn't. Then I proceeded take pictures of the buckets of water that i had been emptying but started to let overflow so I had proof of my efforts while they continued to tell me it wasn't an emergency. Further their staff is discriminatory towards the disabled and elderly, lacks emotional intelligence, empathy, common sense, and basic understanding of CT rental laws."

"forget about your security deposit when you move out. They gave me $230 back out of my $2400 security deposit. They even charged me for Mod in the house that i reported and nothing was that about it. Management is money hungry & have no compassion for their tenants "what so ever.""

"Damato Apartments WERE great when Damato was alive . After his death his family sold out to a firm which I believe is in New Jersey . These People shame the name Damato . They are out for money and don't care at all about the tenants . Everyone we knew moved out . They places are dumps now . Just what Manchester needs ,more slums and more slum lords . I'm sure Mr Damato who was one of the nicest landlords I've known in my life is spiining in his grave since the slumlords took over ."

"I have lived at pine ridge village for over 15 years in the beginning it was great anytime I wanted an upgrade on something they would accommodate. Now with the new owners and management they refuse to upgrade anything. I have been told if I want upgrades then I need to move out of my apt. And into a newly renovated and my rent would increase accordingly. My rent all ready goes up 70 dollars a year without any upgrades. My bathroom is from the 60's I have light fixtures that are from the 60's my counters & cabinets are very old looking as well why cant I get any upgrades while I am currently living in my apt. Not to mention they charge us a community fee for a gym I do not use because I work to much. I really think If you are going to increase my rent an outragoius amount the little thing like a new bathroom vanity isnt to much to ask esp. Considering I have been a faithful tenant for over 15 years!!!!"

"Damato Apartments and specifically the Love Lane address are beautiful and quiet areas to live and have family in. The Office staff have always been wonderful to work with and have always gotten any random issues knocked right out for us. Marcy, Lil, and Jen are all just the most personable and professional ladies to deal with and made our time at the property a delight. The new owners are also adding newer more modern refurbishes to the older apartments as well. I wish them all the best of luck going forward and if you're looking for a home within an apartment then you found it here. And just for reference we stayed for 9 years. Thanks again for everything !"
