"I would like to start off by saying the property management is amazing. Super welcoming, respectful & professional however if I must be honest I don’t really understand why the halls smell very terrible once you leave the lobby. I have noticed a very strong smell of onions and curry and I would personally say for anyone moving in I would definitely recommend having an air purifier outside of your apartment so it doesn’t seep in! Also use wall plug ins to remove the smell. It might stick on to your clothes for the 2-3min while entering/exiting the building so I would suggest to cover up with a jacket you don’t necessarily care about so the smell doesn’t stick on to your clothes ! Other than that I love my place it is nice wi the an awesome view of the city."
"UPDATE : 250 elements team reached out to me heard my concern and validated it. Issued full refund. I appreciate fact of being professional through out the conversation. Never expect security deposit refund here. Irrespective how well you maintain you are going to be charged with a reason."
"Element 250 is a magnificent place to live in. I am forever impressed with the staff - they are always friendly and helpful. Windy and Mia are a source of inspiration; wonderful managers and human beings. I can always count on them and Javier to help promptly with any issues or questions. I also am very grateful to live in a building that the owners are constantly renovating and maintaining so that we have a beautiful place. This is indeed a jewel of a building, and I am excited to renew my lease this year so I can enjoy this gift for a little longer. THANK YOU ELEMENT 250! Rosie Smallshaw"
"I have the best experience at 250 Main Street aka Element 250. We got renovated 2B-2B apartment with a really low price even though it's in downtown. They have the best management I have ever seen and it's highly organized. If you raised a complaint about minor things, they will fixed it within the next day. They have super cool issues logging system where you can put your requirements. The apartments and ambience is super clean all the time. I liked the open space where you can watch TV, drink coffee, or go to the Gym, all free of cost. Great experience! Highly recommended ✌️"
"My mom lived here and while there were some issues over the time it wasn’t bad and the unit itself was nice. The building feels old but they are improving it. The new elevators are very critical as my mom encountered many times of no elevators (and 9 floors for an elderly person is not easy). The unit itself was the great part. We had the basic 1 bedroom and it was good. Hot water worked and was quick to get hot, it was clean and it was quiet. We didn’t hear neighbors or outside. Which is super important. She was on the top floor, but still no noise from side neighbors. The oven was old but worked perfect and rest of kitchen was newer. When she moved in and had an issue with something they fixed it within hours. The laundry room was also always clean and machines worked with no issue. And the gym was really nice (she used it a lot during the winter when going outside was tougher). The biggest issue we encountered was with parking. The garage has some pipes that drip and the drip took off the clear coat on the car leaving permanent damage to the car. My mom doesn’t drive a lot so we got a tarp and wrapped the car. Other issues were mostly with area. The city didn’t do a good job with snow removal from sidewalks. And the area has gotten run down (maybe due to the pandemic). Hopefully once that is over the area gets better. There is a CVS, Walgreens and some fast food and a Chinese place in walking distance which was nice and the river had a nice trail for getting scenic walks in. We chose this place as it was affordable for her and was walking distance to the Amtrak station so I could come from NYC (direct train early morning and late night) which was great. Had I not moved for work she probably wouldn’t have moved. It did have some issues but for convenience, walkable and a good unit it was the best for the price. Management and maintenance were always kind and quick to respond and we had no issue with moving in or out. Included picture of the living room and the view. Which was very nice."
