In recent times, our club has undergone significant redevelopment to ensure that we stand among the leading shooting grounds in Australasia. This commitment to excellence is reflected in our well-patronized and bustling facility. We cater to a diverse range of disciplines, making sure there's something for everyone, whether you're a competitive shooter or simply looking for some recreational fun.

At the Waikato Clay Target Club, you can expect a vibrant schedule of events and competitions. We conduct regular DTL (Down The Line), Skeet, ISSF Trap Shooting, and Sporting competitions each month. Additionally, we hold practice sessions on Saturdays and Thursday evenings during daylight savings. This ensures that our members have ample opportunities to refine their skills and enjoy their time at our club.

If you're new to the sport or prefer a more casual approach, don't worry - we warmly welcome new members and informal shooters. Our rules allow you to participate in two of our shoots without becoming a member. However, after that, membership is required, which also grants you affiliation to the prestigious NZ Clay Target Association.
