One of the highlights of our institution is that we offer 20 ECE (Early Childhood Education) hours each week. This means that your child can benefit from quality education and care for 20 hours free of charge starting from the age of 2. For any additional hours, we charge $4.00 per hour, or $5.25 per hour if you have attested any of your 20 ECE hours at another service.

At Galbraith Kindergartens Waikato, we prioritize the well-being and interests of children. Our program is centered around child-initiated learning, allowing children to explore their interests and foster discovery. We also believe in the importance of connecting children with Papatūānuku (Mother Earth) to enhance their learning experience. We provide learning extensions in various areas such as numeracy, literacy, nature and science, computers and technology, puzzles and games, creative arts, and more. We also focus on developing social skills and friendships among children.

Throughout the day, children come together for mat time where they share daily information, stories, songs, movement, drama, and waiata (traditional Māori songs). Our daily schedule includes welcome and farewell times, activities and child-led learning, morning and afternoon tea reminders, and tidying up time.
