At Newcastle Kindergartens Waikato, we understand the importance of outdoor play and exploration. That's why we offer large outdoor spaces where children can engage in physical activities, connect with nature, and develop their motor skills. We take pride in our transition to school programs, which are designed to prepare children for their academic journey. Our experienced teachers provide learning extensions that focus on numeracy, literacy, science, technology, creative arts, and more. We believe in fostering a love for learning and ensuring that children are confident and successful learners.

One of the unique aspects of our institution is the 20 ECE hours each week. From the age of 2, children can benefit from 20 hours of free education and care. For any additional hours beyond the 20 ECE hours, we charge only $4.00 per hour, or $5.25 per hour if you have attested any of your 20 ECE Hours at another service.

Our daily schedule is carefully planned to provide a balanced and enriching experience for children. Activities are child-led, allowing them to explore their interests and develop their skills. We also have mat times where children come together to share information, stories, songs, and engage in movement, drama, and waiata.

We offer flexible attendance options to suit the needs of families. Our extended day runs for 6.5-9 hours, with a start time between 8am-9am. Morning sessions are available for 4-4.5 hours between 8am-12.30pm, and afternoon sessions are at least three hours from 12.30pm.
