At Pukete Kindergartens Waikato, we have a team of qualified and passionate teachers who are dedicated to providing the best learning experiences for your child. Our spacious outdoor areas allow children to explore and engage in physical activities, fostering their physical development and love for the outdoors.

We offer transition to school programs that prepare your child for their next educational journey. With 20 ECE (Early Childhood Education) hours available each week, you can rest assured that your child is receiving the necessary educational support.

Our flexible operating hours cater to the needs of busy parents. We offer extended day sessions from 8 am to 3:30 pm, school day sessions from 8:30 am to 3 pm, morning sessions from 8 am to 12:30 pm, and afternoon sessions from 12 pm to 3:30 pm. Additionally, we provide 20 hours of free childcare for children starting from 2 years old.

The cost of additional hours is $4.00 per hour, but please note that if you have utilized any of your 20 ECE hours at another service, the cost increases to $5.25 per hour.

At Pukete Kindergartens Waikato, we offer a wide range of learning experiences that prepare your child for school. From numeracy and literacy to nature and science, computers and technology, puzzles and games, creative arts, and sand and water play, your child will have ample opportunities to explore and develop their skills.

Our teaching team encourages collaboration and communication among children through daily mat time activities. During this time, children share information, stories, songs, and engage in movement, drama, and waiata (traditional Māori songs).

Our daily schedule ensures a balanced routine for your child. After arriving at 12:30 pm, children engage in free play and learning experiences until 2 pm, followed by an optional afternoon tea break. Free play continues until 2:50 pm, after which children participate in tidy-up time. Those finishing at 3 pm are bid farewell, while children finishing at 3:30 pm are farewelled prior to this time. Kindergarten then concludes for the day.
