Manawaru Playcentre

Welcome to Manawaru Playcentre, located at Manawaru Road, 405B in New Zealand. At Manawaru Playcentre, we offer a unique early childhood education experience for both children and their parents or caregivers.

Unlike traditional schools, at Playcentre, parents and caregivers actively participate in their child's learning journey. This creates a special bond between families and allows for a holistic approach to education.

Our playcentre provides a fun and safe environment for children to learn and explore. We believe in nurturing the curiosity and creativity of our tamariki (children) in a way that allows them to discover more about themselves and the world around them.

At Manawaru Playcentre, your child will have the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities. From exploring, creating, and climbing, to reading, singing, and experimenting, our playcentre offers a diverse range of experiences. Children can also enjoy playing music, dressing up in costumes, face painting, gardening, carpentry with real tools, baking and cooking, building sandcastles, swinging, sliding, dancing, spending time in nature, and getting messy.

Every day brings new and exciting activities, thanks to the diverse skills, interests, and cultural backgrounds of our Playcentre parents. This enriches the learning environment and ensures that each child's unique needs and interests are met.

We welcome families with children aged 0-6 years to join our playcentre. Our mixed-age play allows children to interact with peers of different ages, fostering communication, sharing, and empathy. Older children learn to engage with and support their younger peers, creating a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere.

At Manawaru Playcentre, families come together and lifelong friendships are formed. We encourage you to visit us at any time during the year. You are entitled to three free visits, so come and see what we have to offer. We would love to meet you and your family!
