Due to our parent and caregiver involvement, we maintain a high adult to child ratio, allowing us to offer a child-initiated program tailored to each individual child's strengths and interests. Whether you have a new baby or are new to the community, our Playcentre provides a welcoming space for babies, young children, and parents to come together. Our members enjoy a strong sense of belonging, and lifelong friendships flourish.

As a nationwide charity with over 400 centres across the country, Hamilton East Playcentre provides a supportive, fun, and friendly environment for you and your child. Every session at Hamilton East Playcentre is designed to captivate and excite your child, from building sandcastles to baking biscuits, painting to singing, and working with wood to cutting shapes in playdough. We are excited to announce that Hamilton East Playcentre will be hosting a free event for families with children aged 0-6 years. Join us as we delve into an array of messy play offerings, including paint, playdough, sand, clay, slime, and gloop. This event is open to children of all ages, and infants are welcome to attend most Playcentre sessions and participate in regular activities.
