Welcome to Ohaupo Playcentre, a charming rural institution nestled in the heart of Ōhaupō, New Zealand. Our Playcentre brings together families from Ohaupo and the surrounding areas to create a vibrant and inclusive community.

At Ohaupo Playcentre, we pride ourselves on providing fantastic facilities for children of all ages. Our expansive sandpit and playground offer endless opportunities for outdoor play and exploration. Children can zoom around on bikes and enjoy our wide range of outdoor equipment. Inside, they can unleash their creativity with musical instruments, dressups, and a plethora of arts and crafts materials.

For parents of energetic toddlers who need a mid-morning nap, we have a cozy baby sleep room. This space allows parents to entertain their older children while ensuring their little ones get the rest they need.

Community involvement is a key part of our ethos at Ohaupo Playcentre. We actively participate in local events such as school calf club and hot air balloon visits. Additionally, once every term, we organize exciting outings to places like the zoo, bike park, museum, airport, and other fun activities. These outings provide valuable learning experiences and create lasting memories for our children.
