Welcome to Tots On The Rock, located at 22 Kuaka Road in Auckland, New Zealand. We are an establishment that aims to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, where they can learn, grow, and explore.

At Tots On The Rock, we follow the principles of Te Whāriki, which is New Zealand's early childhood curriculum. Our curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education that focuses on the holistic development of each child. We are incredibly proud of the variety and depth of the program we provide at Tots.

One unique aspect of our curriculum is the Tots Explorers program, where children have the opportunity to venture out and enjoy the natural beauty of our island. Excursions are a major part of our curriculum, and we take small groups out of the center most days of the week.

We believe in instilling a sense of responsibility in our tamariki (children) towards the wellbeing of both the living and non-living environment. Our curriculum also emphasizes important skills such as literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, and active inquiry. We promote group cooperation, social competence, personal responsibility, and independence.

At Tots On The Rock, we embrace the tuakana-teina style of learning, where older tamariki guide, mentor, and act as role models for younger tamariki. This fosters a sense of community and collaboration within our center.
