"I had been holding out for the Black Friday sales to buy a Nuna Leaf Curv. I found a great price at Parnell Baby Boutique through The Market, and was really thrilled with my purchase! After not hearing from The Market or Parnell Baby Boutique for about two weeks, I got in touch to find out what was happening. After a few more days I heard back from The Market only to be told that due to unforeseen circumstances my order could no longer be supplied and that they had processed a refund. I replied saying that I wasn't satisfied with this solution, because by this point the sales had finished and other retailers had reverted the product back to full price. Furthermore, I had since purchased a Nuna Wind (an accessory product). The Market responded by saying that Parnell Baby Boutique had oversold on their stock and were unwilling to request more stock from the supplier and sell at this price. Really disappointing customer service. A friend in retail suggested this could be a breach of the FTA as their advertising of the product at this price was misleading and could be considered 'bait' advertising."
"I'm a dude, and I thought this place was pretty awesome, while I mostly pushed the pram I did choose some baby socks/booties (I don't know what they were). Lovely atmosphere and choice for a wee shop around for baby stuff. Pretty impressed considering all I was thinking about was lunch & going fishing, will be back again when over that side of the city - thanks!"
