Welcome to Dance Space, a boutique dance studio located in the heart of Auckland, New Zealand. Our studio is not just a place to learn dance, but a space where beautiful pictures are painted in our minds.

At Dance Space, we believe in providing a personalized dance experience for each of our dancers. We are a fun-loving dance studio that fosters the love for dance in a warm and safe environment. Our classes are designed to build confidence and have loads of fun.

For our youngest dancers, preschool dance is a passion for our teachers. We offer classes specifically tailored to teach your child in a way that is engaging and enjoyable. We also have classes for 5-year-olds starting primary school, focusing on building confidence and assisting in their social and emotional development.

With our Junior & Senior Arts Academy, we offer a wide range of dance genres including Acro Dance, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Tap, and PBT. Our experienced teachers have the ability to help students grow in all aspects of dance, working towards rewarding goals.

Regardless of age or ability, everyone can enjoy learning how to dance at Dance Space. From tots to teens, beginners to advanced dancers, we welcome all. Our approach is kind and encouraging, building friendships that will last forever.

We pride ourselves on giving each student the attention they deserve. Our classes focus on an excellent balance of technique work and performance skills. Through technical training, we aim to safely strengthen, stretch, and mobilize the body across all dance genres. While exam participation is highly recommended, it is not compulsory.

One event you do not want to miss out on is our annual showcase. Although we are not a competition studio, we provide opportunities for some students to showcase their hard work by entering competitions. Dance is art, and at Dance Space, we encourage our dancers to paint their dreams and follow them.
