Welcome to Fairfield Primary School, a historic institution located in the beautiful suburbs of Hamilton, New Zealand. Established in 1919 with just 106 students, our school has grown and evolved over the years while still maintaining its original charm. The original school block, which has been thoughtfully renovated, now houses our library, resource rooms, and classrooms, serving as a reminder of our rich history.

Situated in the north east suburbs of Hamilton, Fairfield Primary School enjoys a picturesque setting surrounded by mature trees and bordered on two sides by Fairfield Park. This serene environment provides a peaceful and conducive atmosphere for learning, allowing our students to thrive both academically and personally.

As a U5 contributing primary school, Fairfield caters to students from Year 0 to Year 6. Currently, we have an enrollment of approximately 310 students, ensuring a close-knit and supportive community where every child is valued and nurtured.

Our school boasts a range of excellent facilities designed to enhance the learning experience. With 14 well-equipped classrooms, a versatile school hall that serves as a multipurpose space, a modern library, and even a swimming pool, our students have access to everything they need to excel academically and explore their interests. Additionally, we have an administration block that efficiently manages the school's operations, adventure playgrounds for outdoor fun, netball and basketball courts for sports enthusiasts, and spacious playing fields for various recreational activities.
