Planet Dance

Welcome to Planet Dance, a vibrant and inclusive institution located in Hamilton, New Zealand. Our establishment is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals of all ages to learn and excel in the art of dance.

Term 3 at Planet Dance runs from Monday 17 July to Saturday 23 September, and we are currently accepting enrolments for both Term 3 and Term 4. Whether you're a beginner or have previous dance experience, we have classes suitable for everyone from age 3 to adult. At Planet Dance, we pride ourselves on our unique culture and state-of-the-art facilities. Our studio is equipped with sprung floors, rubber underlay for added safety, commercial air conditioning, a separate ventilation system, wall-length mirrors, and double ballet barres. We also provide comfortable viewing rooms for parents and free parking, ensuring a stable and healthy environment for our students all year round.

Our dance syllabi encompass a wide range of styles including Classical Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. These syllabi are choreographed, distributed, and examined by the prestigious Asia Pacific Dance Association (APDA), ensuring a professional and comprehensive dance education.

In addition to our structured syllabi, we offer classes where students have the opportunity to create and perform their own choreography. These classes encourage creativity, self-expression, and boost self-esteem.

The teachers at Planet Dance are not only outstanding dancers, but they are also highly trained professionals who are dedicated to instilling a sense of joy, patience, and inclusivity in their students.
