"I have recently moved centres and brought my baby girl here and I have been having such a great experiences with the transitions and communication with teachers. I am always kept informed about my child's progress and that helps stay sane when I am at work, knowing my baby is in great hands. I highly recommend this place if people are needing of care."
"My boy was in other centre and he didn't feel good. I changed him to Nature and everything changed. He is really happy now and I am really happy with the professionals of the centre they are so good with the children and also the activities of the centre are really nice for the children. The best decision that I did for him."
"Our experiences of this place? I will honestly need counselling. Our near two year old daughter has been bitten 7 times and her whole face scratched up (at least 10 scratches) in 6 weeks. She is currently in a full leg cast and was bitten twice in three days while unable to defend herself. There is a SIGNIFICANT biting issue in the toddler room (4 plus as per their admission) and when we tried to discuss it with them in a meeting at the beginning of this and then through subsequent emails, they completely gas lit and dismissed us. They have never once said sorry and never acted to implement necessary changes such as adding extra staff to keep Violet or the other children safe. Parents have complained to the MOE and they’re investigating but also looking for more parents experiences, so contact me for the details should you want them. I also have photos. - DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. In response to your reply Trudy: 1. The MOE declared you’d done the bare minimum in meeting requirements, but also that the number of bites Violet received and that the whole room experienced, were far more than they would ever expect or want. If that’s how you determine your centre management success, then you’ve just outed yourself in a public forum. 2. The MOE also identified your record keeping of incidents as unacceptable, and apparently you admitted this. 3. Communication was also identified as being poor by the MOE, ironically something I know SEVERAL parents requested more of from you and Guneet, but were denied. 4. I didn’t know the third complainant. So to imply the group who went to the MOE were all “friends” is laughable. Again, demonstrating your utter inability to admit any wrong doing even when you have been told you are. 5. If Violet was being cared for so well when she was in a cast, why was she bitten twice in three days and twice picked up with a wet through her nappy? 6. It’s clear from discussions with previous teachers of yours, mentions of ‘shareholders’ in emails to parents, and a lack of action in wanting to protect children like Violet through paying for extra staff, that prove the bottom line is the most important factor for you. And that is your value that we don’t align with."
"The management at this centre is terrible. Several parents have made complaints regarding biting and aggression, yet management said the extent of it is normal and we’re “exaggerating” the problem (rather than doing what they need to do to keep our children safe). Essentially, they are prioritising profits over our children’s safety because they refuse to do anything significant (like getting more staff in)."
"Our son has been attending Nurture since he was 5.5 months, as a parent I couldn't have asked for a better centre than Nurture. The reason I am writing this review today is that my parents arrived here in NZ and met my son for the 1st time and all my son could talk to them was about Nurture and the teachers. My parents went to pick up my son and as soon as they met the teachers they were very happy and excited as they knew their names and could tell how much my son talks about them. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for heartfelt care and nurturing at an early age."
