"Beautiful little spot for a stroll in the park. Kept clean and tidy with good parking. The basketball courts are a nice addition, and decent playground facilities for the kids. Best of all is the tranquility of the view out to the harbour in the morning."
"Loved the cold breeze coming from the waters, playground for kids, free books to read but watchout for bikers they wont mind hitting you when you're walking down the path. They will surprise you coming from your rear. They will expect you'll go down to the side with their tiny bells ringing."
"Haven’t been to the beach but you could get nice access to the rock where you can fish. Caught a few snapper around 30-35cm the other night. The car park is like a couple of minutes walk but be aware that the gate closes at 12:30am."
"Lovely walk around the park with beautiful views of the Auckland Harbour. Access to beach from carpark, beach is tidal but at low tide has rocks and caves to explore. Playground is a bit dated and needs some shade but still good for young kids. Toilet facilities on site."
