MPHS
About the Business
Welcome to MPHS, a prominent establishment located at 27 Corban Avenue, Auckland, New Zealand. As a point of interest in the community, we offer a range of programs and services for individuals of all ages.
One of our exciting offerings is Fit Mama, a free fitness class for parents and caregivers. Held every Thursday from 10:45 to 11:45am in the hall at Hub West, this class allows parents to exercise and connect with like-minded individuals while their children under 5 are cared for and socialize. It's a great opportunity for parents to prioritize their well-being while setting a positive example for their children.
For children aged 5-10, we have the Recreators program. Also held on Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30pm at Hub West, this program teaches children a variety of arts and crafts using upcycled materials. Not only do the children have fun, but they also contribute to waste reduction and environmental sustainability.
Our institution also caters to young people aged 10-18 through our state-of-the-art creative technology program. By providing access to cutting-edge technology, we empower young individuals to design their own future. Collaboration within this program fosters leadership and teamwork skills, as well as opportunities to participate in local events.
During school holidays, we offer the Breakaway Holiday Programme, a free program designed for 11-17 year olds. Each program is unique and includes community trips, team-oriented activities, creative arts, music, and skill-building. Our focus is on teamwork, friendship, and cultivating youth leaders within our community.
Skateboarding enthusiasts can also join us for our skateboarding program. Whether you're a beginner or looking to improve your skills, our expert coaches and well-sized ramps guarantee progress and a great time. Equipment is provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own gear.
Our institution also offers the Game Making 10-week program. Participants will learn the basics of game development, including storyline, visuals, and character development, using user-friendly software. This program equips individuals with the skills to plan, code, and create their own games.
In addition to our programs, MPHS serves as a community business hub at Hub West. We host workshops and provide coaching to various tiers of the community sector, such as board of trustees, managers, staff teams, and volunteers. Our goal is to build capacity, enhance skills, and promote best practices. Workshops have covered topics like Chairs' Coaching, Governance Organization and Mentoring, and Governance for Youth and Whanau/Iwi.

"Hired the hall out for my daughter 1st birthday last year the hall is so clean so are the kitchen facilities and toilets LOVED IT! I will be booking the place again this year for my eldest daughters 5th birthday :)"
"MPHS was Community Center I was not familiar with. My dealings with them have been extremely positive. I had booked their hall for a friends wedding and was extremely pleasantly surprised. I chose MPHS hall because it is extremely modern and the facilities were excellent, from a large fully equipped kitchen to a large well equipped and modern hall. The extremely friendly were incredibly helpful, bending over backwards to ensure the day was special for all involved. We were also able to bring our own JP. We were offered caterers and though the menu provided was spectacular (Thai), we had already organised our own. I frequently book their rooms as their prices are reasonable, and the rooms are modern, well heated and extremely well priced. Thank you MPHS for making our experience an extremely pleasant one."
