For pools and spas installed before 8 April 1991, we adhere to Part 9A Building Regulations 2018 and AS 1926.1-1993. For installations between 8 April 1991 and 30 April 2010, we follow AS 1926.1 – 1986 (for barriers approved from 8 April 1991 to 31 October 1994) or AS 1926.1 – 1993 (for barriers approved from 1 November 1994 to 30 April 2010). For installations from 1 May 2010, we comply with AS 1926.1-2007 (for barrier permits issued from 1 May 2010 to 30 April 2013) or AS 1926.1 2012 (for barrier building permits issued from 1 May 2013).
