About the Business
Welcome to Making A Change, located at 55 Meadowood Drive in Auckland, New Zealand. Our institution, Meadowood Community Centre (formerly known as Meadowood House), is dedicated to providing opportunities for the community to come together and support one another. We believe in creating spaces for participation in educational, multicultural, physical, social, and spiritual programs.

As part of Meadowood Community Centre Inc, we are proud to house the Meadowood Creche. Established in 1998, our creche is located behind the house and offers quality Early Child Education for children aged 0-5 years. With 100% qualified staff and a maximum capacity of 25 children per day, you can trust that your child will receive the best care and education.
In addition to our creche and room hire services, we also invite you to join one of our classes or amazing community-led groups. Whether you're interested in learning a new skill, engaging in a hobby, or simply connecting with like-minded individuals, we have something for everyone. Our classes and groups cover a wide range of interests and are open to all members of the community.

"This is a great little community house which puts on some good events for the kids and families. The Christmas afternoon is OK for some free entertainment and ice cream. There is a great park just outside the doors and parking. I'm pretty sure the house is staffed most days. They offer some exercise classes through the week and it may good a place to start of your looking for any info such as exercise, child minding, health info or other events."
"Hired the Moa room for my child's birthday and it was great. Perfect venue with access to two playgrounds (one which is secure with a gate for toddlers.) Use of the kitchen is included with the hire fee and plenty of parking available. Toilets came with a change table for parents with babies. I would recommend this space for sure!"
"This is a nice community center where I used to enroll my kids to learn Arabic every Sunday. The play area next to the center is amazing as well. There is a bus stop by the entrance of the center which makes it very easy for people to commute to the center."

"Had good time with around 50 people for a birthday celebration. This place could easily handle around 50-70 people indoor and a lot more if doing it outdoor. With lots of green and couple of play ground for the kids it perfect for having a party."
