Welcome to Dancescene! We are delighted that you have found our website and are considering joining our dance community. Located at 134B Stirling Highway in Nedlands, Australia, Dancescene is a renowned establishment and a point of interest for dancers of all ages.

At Dancescene, we believe in introducing children to the joy of dance and nurturing their musical appreciation. Our children's classes, which follow the Royal Academy of Dancing (RAD) syllabus, provide a comprehensive and freer approach to music and dance. Through these classes, your child will not only develop their dance skills but also enhance their musicality, poise, and self-confidence. We ensure that our classes are fun and engaging, allowing children to express their creativity and choreographic ideas.

One of the highlights of our program is the annual Dancescene recital, where all students have the opportunity to perform on stage for their supportive families and friends. This experience introduces children to the excitement of the theatre and showcases their hard work and progress throughout the year.

Dancescene offers expert dance tuition for children aged 3 years through to young adults of 20 years. Our classes cover various dance styles, including classical ballet, jazz, contemporary dance, and hip-hop. We also offer specialized classes for adults, including Adult Ballet and Ballet for Seniors (60 years ).

In addition to our regular classes, we are proud to offer a unique program called "Ballet 4 You." This program is specifically designed for individuals with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or Early Stage Alzheimer's Disease. Through ballet-inspired movement sequences, participants can improve their balance, posture, and cognitive abilities. Each participant dances to their own personalized music playlist, creating a tailored and enjoyable experience.

Dancescene is founded by Lisa Purchas and Mikaila Godfrey, both passionate about our teaching philosophy. Our classes are highly interactive, creative, and fun, ensuring that every student feels engaged and inspired.
