Reviews
"My original review was deleted by the hospital today after I blew the whistle and any company who removes a review, expescially articulated so well, has just breached regulations. So all I’ll say is, 90% staff amazing, record keeping of each patient is slightly flawed, they smoke your cigarettes but let you smoke in back left corner of yard and a couple of nurses who mistreat patients. A lot more was written but they deleted…l just found it hidden so here it is again. **************************************************************************************************** Caboolture Hospital 87/129 McKean St, Caboolture QLD 4510 Mental health unit disaster 1st time police Brough me in due to suicide, I was placed in a room for 8 hrs then at Midnight, dr sad was h.just having a bad day and made me leave at midnight forcing me to walk home for 3 hrs with no wallet or phone. This week, I had to slash my arms to get taken serious and it hurt like hell. Firstly, facility save my life because as everyone was kind, helpful , listened when did what was required. 90% of workers, kitchen staff, psychiatrists and nurses Are incredibly Great. Though it illegal, we can even smoke in the hospital outside all day, But there is the factual issue. I watched 7 patients walking hallways or hrs with complete given uo thoughts, and not 1 nurse checked in on them so I did it mysel. 2 suicidal and ignored. 1 excape by rooftop. Accuse me of being a peadophile and Get to fight fo for myself. I was even discharged early due to them saying I’m saved at home then in care. 1. 1 nures or staffer with shirt orange fair is disgusting in her treatment towards patients. 2. They allow u to smoke and go buy them at $44 a pack but take them straight away and smoke them themselves instead of bagging with your belongings with your belongings. 3. If they suspect you have self harmed, they publically interrogation front of visitors ams patients out in an open yard, 4, I’m gay and a girl asked me to help change her bed which is against rules so I gotspecial permission to help, quick but orange haired nurse rudely told me to get out and refused outright take over and help the girl named shay and said she is. Old enough to do it, No one will change bad sheets tht a month old, stained it’s blood, feaces etc, patients need to find new sheets And wash themselves. One lady was caugh stealing belong from a.n unstable patient who build a stair case ans left the facility at night by rooftop as no ome helped her deal with emotions. They pump Valium into louder patients to shut them uo if havin fun, ten they cannot sleep at night. Patient are having sex, smuggling in crack and issuing. 3 patients discharged and told its not our job, when we discharge you with no home and only thre streets. I had to organise myself for all 3. This place is a disaster..."
"Breached my confidentiality and also met with very condescending attitude by reception at every interaction. Massively let down and hold concerns about the genuine delivery of substantial assistance for my children. Very disappointed"
"The outreach team helped my loved one to engage in treatment. These beautiful women were compassionate, understanding, respectful and worked with our whole family to help guide our loved one with his recovery. I'd like to see this approach in the adult service."
