About the Business
Welcome to Bertha Street Medical & Dental Centre, located at 21-25 Bertha Street in Caboolture, Australia. As a trusted establishment in the health industry, we are committed to providing quality healthcare to our community, especially during these challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19, we are currently operating with reduced staffing levels. As a result, our opening hours may vary. We kindly ask you to check our website for the latest information before visiting us. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate through these circumstances.
In order to prioritize the safety and well-being of our staff and healthcare practitioners, we kindly request that you treat them with respect and understanding during your visit. We understand that these times can be stressful, but we believe that kindness and cooperation can go a long way in creating a positive environment for everyone.
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and are in need of medical advice, we strongly encourage you to book a telehealth appointment. To facilitate this, you may receive a call from a private number. We kindly ask that you do not attend the medical centre in person if you have tested positive for COVID-19.
For reporting a positive Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) result, we recommend completing the Positive Result Registration form on the Queensland Government website: www.qld.gov.au/rat-positive. This will ensure that the necessary steps are taken to protect public health and prevent the spread of the virus.
Please note that Bertha Street Medical & Dental Centre does not provide COVID-19 testing or Medical Clearance Certificates. For information regarding self-isolation rules, de-isolation, public health orders, or testing, we recommend visiting www.covid19.qld.gov.au.
To ensure the safety of all patients and staff, it is mandatory to wear a mask while attending our centre. We appreciate your cooperation in adhering to this requirement.
At Bertha Street Medical & Dental Centre, we strive to provide the highest standard of care when you need it most. For patients who are not bulk-billed, we kindly request that the full fee be paid upfront. However, please note that the Medicare rebate can be claimed at the time of payment, providing you with the necessary financial support.
Thank you for choosing Bertha Street Medical & Dental Centre. We are dedicated to serving our community with exceptional healthcare services. If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

"if i could give this place a -5 star i would the people at the desk have the worst attitude i got turned away because i havent been there for 2 years or longer no walk ins no bulk billing im currently having pains in the chest pins needles/numbness in my left arm and cant even see a doctor is a complete joke"
"Wow, surprised to see so many negative reviews. My experience has been completely opposite! I attended this practice today after my husband had recommended it to me many times. Reception area was spotlessly clean, reception staff friendly and the GP I saw was absolutely fantastic! I look forward to becoming a regular patient here as it’s much closer to home. Looks as though the building was recently sold so hopefully any issues made in some previous reviews will be sorted out now by new owners."
"Booked in for a telehealth phone call with doctor john patten, just for a script to avoid wasting time, spreading germs at the clinic all for a script. Booked for 10am, still waiting at 3pm. Reason why I left this doctors practice, incompetent. Called up twice to be told he sees all his customers first then handles the telehealth after 4pm So what was the point booking in at a certain time?"
"What a down turn is service. Waited for some time while the receptionist was on the phone with a personal call. Finally a nurse served and checked me in. I asked if the Dr was on time as my appointment was scheduled. The reply was "I'm a nurse not a receptionist!". Disgusting service and attitude. While waiting to see the Dr, more people are queing for the receptionist, she finally says "I gotta go, I've got patients here" to whoever was on her personal call. Not wearing a mask too, everyone else was. Obviously the place to work for industry dropouts. Everyone can make a dollar. Why management accept this I'm not sure but I will be finding a different doctor in future. A telling sign as they used to have plenty of Dr's, most likely they have seen the light and abandoned ship. It doesn't take much to be polite but obviously beyond these people."
"I see my regular GP here. The Centre is Okay. It is clean and nothing can be done about the waiting. If you book, an hours wait is alright. Doctors have to deal with whatever cases they see. They can do nothing about consultations that run over time."
