"Not helpful ( just like the other health funds, unlike what they claim). What kind of leadership does HCF have? On hold over the phone for ages to cancel a visitor health cover, so, thought I'd walk 200m over to this HCF shop. Instead, was told that they have nothing to do with HCF visitor health cover and to ring the number on the card. So, I am back on the phone, on hold yet again, it's been 20 minutes and still listening to HCF propaganda. HCF - easy to join, quick to take your money, difficult to cancel direct debit. Update - have lodged my cancellation, no acknowledgement. Fingers crossed I will get my refund in full."

"This company is so difficult to deal with, every time I call I’m on hold for hours trying to get through, then when I ask straight forward questions about my policy, they say they don’t know the answers and can’t answer simple questions. I ask to speak to someone who can answer me, but they say there is no one else. They have an app to make claims, but it is so slow. I click on a button and then 10 seconds later the app registers the click. It takes so long to load each step, it’s like they’ve done this on purpose to make it impossible to claim!"
