"I've been having my breasts checked annually (due to family history of breast cancer) for the past 30 years by this same company. The equipment is constantly being updated, the staff have always been polite, gentle, and reassuring. They have moved to new premises three times but even though I am now retired and have to drive in from the country I make the effort to come to Breast Imaging because they are professional. The one thing that has changed is that they can be reviewed on social media and to be honest their worst score came from a woman who also gave a one star review to the West Gate Bridge. The bottom line is... be a grown up, take this subject seriously, get your breasts checked regularly. Don't waste your life on assigning one star reviews to a bridge."

"My dr wrote a referral to check lumps in my breast. She requested appt to be bulkbilled as I have a health care card. I rang to make an appt. The person on reception was so incredibly rude. Not remotely taking into account that people making these types of calls might be doing so for the first time in their life and might be scared and anxious. She spoke extremely fast and I repeatedly had to ask her to slow down & repeat things clearly so I could write notes as I went. I asked her to explain terminology as she was rattling on using terms that may well be familiar to her because she uses them all day - but again - forgetting the rest of us are not experts in this field. Even getting the actual address of the clinic out of her was impossible - she just kept saying "in the city" - great - where ? Finally established that they don't bulk bill. I asked where people needing bulkbilled scans could go - her reply - "google it". I ended the call in tears. Even if I could afford this clinic I would not go after that experience on the phone. If that's how vulnerable confused anxious people are spoken to - I dread to think how the rest of the experience goes."
