About Trinity Marles Playing Fields
Welcome to Trinity Marles Playing Fields, a premier establishment and point of interest located in Bulleen, Victoria, within the City of Manningham. As an independent Anglican school for boys in Kew, Victoria, Trinity Marles has a rich history of academic excellence and a commitment to providing a nurturing environment for boys to thrive.
At Trinity Marles, we believe in shaping a diverse curriculum that caters to the individual needs of our students. With a focus on creating an environment where boys can prosper, our highly qualified and dedicated staff support and extend our students, ensuring they achieve their best.
One of the unique offerings at Trinity Marles is our Coordinate Program, which is run in collaboration with our sister school, Ruyton Girls' School. This program expands the VCE subject options for our students, providing them with a coeducational learning environment during a crucial stage of their education. We believe that this program allows our students to gain maximum benefit, fostering maturity and self-confidence.
Our Outdoor Education Program is another integral part of Trinity Marles' educational experience. This program offers boys the opportunity to develop a love for the outdoors, deepen their understanding of themselves and their peers, and instill a sense of environmental stewardship. To ensure holistic development, our Outdoor Education Program is supported by cross-age mentoring and leadership initiatives, promoting character development and respect for others.
Trinity Marles takes great pride in offering a range of scholarships for boys who demonstrate exceptional skills and abilities in music, academics, and co-curricular activities. We also provide scholarships for Indigenous students and those interested in joining the St Paul's Cathedral Choir, ensuring that our community is diverse and inclusive.
Our comprehensive Sports Program is designed to engage students with varying interests and abilities in sports and recreational activities. From inter-house competitions to representative opportunities, Trinity Marles encourages students to explore their athletic potential across the junior and senior schools.
For our youngest learners, the Trinity Marles Early Learning Centre provides a nurturing environment and a curriculum that fosters a love for learning. Boys and girls are encouraged to be active and creative explorers, building confidence to try new things, develop ideas, and refine their social skills.
Trinity Marles' story spans over 120 years, beginning with just 36 students and a small staff in the Parish Hall of Holy Trinity Kew in 1903. Today, Trinity Marles has expanded across four locations, including Kew, Bulleen, Lake Nillahcootie, and Licola, attracting students from over 80 suburbs in and beyond Melbourne.
Gender representation in leadership is an important aspect of our vision for a gender-equal world. Our core student leadership group for 2023 consists of Michael, Vice-Captains Ben, Henri, Jack, and William, who were appointed after an extensive selection process. They will represent the Trinity student body, ensuring their voices are heard.
Each year, we come together as a community to celebrate Founders' Day Fair, a joyful event filled with fun, food, and entertainment. Thousands of past and current Trinity students, parents, staff, and their families gather to create memories and strengthen the bonds that make Trinity Marles a truly special institution.
Join us at Trinity Marles Playing Fields and experience an education that goes beyond academics, nurturing the whole individual and preparing boys for a successful future.
