"We purchased a Bairo Table with Corfu Wicker Chairs which were advertised as Outdoor Furniture and still advertised as such. We also purchased Parker Boyd 21st Century timber sealant and applied the product according to the instructions. The setting was purchased for a new building so the product remained in storage (warehoused) - in its packaging for approx 10 months, upon unpacking the product - it was in tip top condition and the sealant was immediately applied. The furniture placed in use and was exposed to the elements - which is what it is made for. Within 3 months the furniture started to mold lightly, within another 2 months the table top started to develop a 2 inch bow and within 6 months the legs started to crack at the joins. The legs are not solid and are made of 3 lengths glued together. I contacted Parker Boyd for assistance however it was suggested that I purchase additional sealant. No assistance with the cracking and bowing and didn't reply to emails. As the product is out of the warranty period not much we can do. So right now we are restoring the furniture ourselves. My personal opinion is that the quality of the product does not match the price tag."
