"Stay away from this store, absolutely terrible customer service. The lady at the cashier told us she was doing us a favour by serving us. We weren’t even asking for assistance, just to pay for the product. She then went on to tell us she wasn’t doing it for us, but for the brand. So unprofessional and definitely not what you expect from a retailer that brands itself as a “luxury department store”. Furthermore, the lifts haven’t worked for months and the store is literally falling apart."

"Honestly I highly recommend adopting the self checkout systems they have in supermarkets. Its near impossible to find someone to serve you and 8/10 times if you do find someone at the PAY HERE booth they tell you they can’t serve you then when you finally find a staff member who is allowed to use the register- you’d think you’ve asked for their first born while pulling their teeth out! I don’t think I’ve ever had a good experience shopping at David Jones instore… i highly recommend sticking to online shopping…. Until perhaps they consider self checkout services so you can pay and get out of the store with your smile and soul intact!"
