"A small restaurant tucked in the Gordon centre serving up some fantastic donburi! The chicken katsu donburi is a particular favourite, as the egg omelette is always so fresh, soft and saucy. Their katsu curry is also delicious and they are super generous with the curry sauce. Take away service was efficient, with only a 10 or so minute wait on a Sunday lunch."
"I'm a regular customer of Sushi Village in Gordon, and I can confidently say that this restaurant is outstanding. The staff are friendly and the sushi are incredible. My favourite is their Salmon donburi (rice bowl) that mixed with fresh and grilled salmon. Their hand rolls and sashimi are always fresh and delicious. As a local I am confident to say this restaurant truly stands out as one of the best in the area."
"Definitely hidden gem, food quality is amazingly over the price tag (considering the fact that it's Sydney). Authentic Japanese flavours, sushi is well made, you can tell by the look of them, it's not like those ones made by non-Japanese. Way better than the Bar Fresko upstairs. Will definitely come back and try more options, e.g. cold soba noodle, poke bowl and ramen variations. If the quality of rice can be better, I'd say this restaurant serves better Bento than Yayoi, ramen is not as good but still above average."
