"Although this site comes under accommodation. You should be aware that this is not a hotel. Instead it is a Scout based activity centre with both indoor accommodation and camping facilities. There are instructor and self lead activities you can do and a small tuck shop (selling mainly sweets and drinks, as well as sew-on badges/woggles etc)"

"This was our first visit to Lapwing Lodge with our Scout troop. We were helped and guided in all of the processes by the warden. Great communications from them and it was great to have access to the activities on offer on site. The ability to use the Games Room while we were there was ideal, especially as there was a fair amount of rain over the weekend. We are looking forward to our next visit."
"Really enjoyed our glamping weekend here. The staff are wonderful and extremely helpful. Facilities are really good and we were very impressed with the hobbit houses and adjacent kitchen and dining room. The forest trails are well kept and clearly marked and although we didn't use them we were impressed with the high ropes and archery range. Will definitely be back."
