Premier Inn Paddington Basin

"Had a two night stay at this hotel and couldn't fault a thing with it. The room was huge, the windows soundproofed against the traffic outside, there was little noise inside even with loads of people staying. Staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. We had breakfast both mornings - the usual Premier Inn experience: something for everyone! The hotel is well placed for lots of amenities, from restaurants, bars, parks and is a lovely walk in to the city centre. I'd definitely recommend staying here and would visit again in the future."

"New addition to the chain. If you arrive by train into Paddington it is literally under a 10 min walk. The nearest tube is Edgware Road again a very short walk away. Check in was easy but still not entering rooms for housekeeping if you are on a stay of more than a few days. You can request everything and help yourself to tea, coffee etc in reception. They really need to get back in the real world. Staff were all really professional and we loved the breakfast staff, bright and happy to start your day. As will all Premier Inns there is an on site restaurant which is very nice and doubles for breakfast. Room was well presented. Typical London prices at just over £200 per room per night"

"Friendly reception team, clean and modern room. Good number of quick lifts, so didn't have to wait around even though was on the 11th floor. The attached restaurant is a Bar + Block; breakfast was fine, but the dinner menu is very limited. I get that they market themselves as a steakhouse, but in this day and age I would expect greater choice for a restaurant affiliated with a Premier Inn (including a decent choice of veggie options). Overall a good stay with helpful staff, will just go to a better restaurant next time."

"Rooms are lovely and spacious with all the facilities including a coffee maker, fridge and hair dryer - only trouble is the rooms are rarely cleaned on time - nearly 5pm and the rooms were not cleaned despite requesting for them to be cleaned from 9.15am!!! They keep saying they have too many rooms to service which is a bit odd. Check in was super quick and the location is convenient between the Edward road and Paddington tubes."

"Stayed here for 12 nights in July. The location was absolutely perfect, close to Paddington station and I felt safe whilst staying there. However the housekeeping was a joke, you need to request to get your room cleaned before 12pm (which I did) but was never cleaned, only the bins changed and towels thrown onto bed. I complained about this and finally got my room cleaned thoroughly. For 12 nights my room was only cleaned once, it didn't bother me that much as I was out all day but not acceptable for a hotel and the price I paid. For a 1/2 night stay it would be perfect any longer then look elsewhere."
