"Lovely pub very local to us BUT the vegetarian food offering is very disappointing. My partner has essentially sworn off eating here after having multiple different options off the menu which are all poor and we have had to return a couple. Please just try to do some simple vegetarian recipes well rather than the out there salads you attempt. You at one time had a vegetarian burger on the menu as a special, just bring that back as a regular option please! You have a meat burger so why not veggie/plant based with all the same other ingredients. Easy and always going to be a winner. Please change this so we can start using our local pub more regularly"

"Very lovely staff, dog friendly and a nice atmosphere. Emma was serving us, the pub was completely booked up/ reserved however she made room for us by pushing tables together which we all appreciated for us to have afternoon lunch together."

"The place is a gem, lovely decorations, feels like a countryside village pub, very friendly staff, BUT ! The food is disappointing!! And the service is very slow. Such a shame as I would go regularly. Please please please improve the food (quality of ingredients, variety of the menu, more vegetarian options would also be great)."

"Pretty restaurant with a nice outside dining courtyard. Portions are small and food is average. Service was below average. Very slow and had to ask multiple servers multiple times to receive anything. Received the food without cutlery and after asking for cutlery never received it. Asked for the bill 4 times and had to wait 20 minutes before getting it."

"We are here tonight. The evening started really nice. Food was good. However grilled prawns were served cold. Kids burger bun was stale. And chickpea dish was bland. Haddock delicious, and mushroom risotto was deliciously creamy. But then it fell horrible apart. Service failed to clear the table. They failed to take a pudding order and ultimately ruined the experience. Any they still expected a tip. Only advice to the service staff is try harder!"
