“Perfect. Atmosphere, food, staff. In town for a few days and have been twice. I will be back again. Had Buddha bowl and eggs and bacon on toast. Not the cheapest but great quality and quantity for both so worth it. Well prepared and presented. Friendly and observant staff. I travel a lot and am surprised at some of the negative comments. Not my experience at all.”

“What a lovely place to go for a coffee! My husband had a delicious cappuccino and a beautiful-looking cake and I had a vegan hot chocolate (they had gluten-free oat milk, which is my favourite, so I was delighted) and a vegan, gluten-free chocolate brownie! Staff were really friendly and showed me the hot chocolate product and the milk, so that I could check they were ok for me to have. My brownie and drink were both gorgeous and we will definitely go here again!”

“What a friendly little cafe on the seafront. Only two tables outside and right next to a children's play area. Staff are great and coffee is good. Snacks too. Wonderful place for an early morning coffee. Opens pretty early like about 9, which IS very early for Brighton!”

“We stayed for one night at the Churchill Guesthouse. Great communication from Robert and easy-to-follow instructions on how to access the property and our room. Rooms are only accessible via stairs. (We did like the quirkiness of the flooring going off in all directions adding to its character!) We stayed in Room 4 on the first floor, which was spacious, clean and supplied with everything you need for a one-night stay: kettle, tea, coffee and milk, hairdryer, shampoo/body wash and conditioner available too, plenty of hangers and a hanging rail for clothes, together with an iron and ironing board. It was a nice touch to have a full bottle of water available. The bed was comfortable for us. Churchill Guesthouse is in a quiet residential area and is excellently placed for access to the shops, beach and the Brighton Centre. Pre-booked 24-hour parking was available at Regency Secure Parking for a very reasonable price (and is no more than a 5-minute walk away from the guesthouse). We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely couple of days in Brighton.”

“A lovely independent coffee bar right in the middle of the North Laine area. It does a good range of light snacks to accompany the coffee and other drinks. When I visited with a friend I had a delicious mint and pea soup and they had a very large and tasty sausage roll.”

“What a lovely place to stay, the staff were amazing and super friendly, our room was beautiful, was not what I was expecting so was a nice surprise, had a lovely greeting from their dog biscuit, what a cutie!!
