“Realised when I went into the cafe yesterday that I had lost my bag with my keys and bank card. The staff were incredible, so lovely and helpful. They were really busy but when they saw how worried I looked, they they found me a seat and told my to stay as long as I needed. I ended up having to stay there for a couple of hours whilst a friend picked up a key from my home in Lancing and drove it over to me. I was given a complimentary coffee and delicious rhubarb cake and offer of phone charging if I needed it. I am so so grateful and will definitely be going back for lunch another time. I was also reunited with my lost bag with keys later that night through the power of Facebook!”

“Worth trying, Never miss if you are around kemptown, Brighton!!! I have visited the very next day after the lockdown was relaxed, I was eagerly waiting for the all the cafe to open. Badly missing breakfast and Brunch in Brighton in cafe. This is the second time I have visited the cafe but a first cafe visit on this month, I would say nothing as changed just awesome lik before the lockdown of my last visit. I tried veggie stuff with Bread, the taste of the food remain delicious. The staff as usual friendly it clearly looks they enjoy their work and serve customers with smile on their face.”

“Almost went past it because it doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a lovely, cozy place. Staff is very friendly, the coffee is delicious, also the chai latte. The bread is extra tasty and not the spongy kind of bread that is so common everywhere else - super good sourdough bread - tastes like @ home. Cinnamon buns and croissants were excellent too. Thanks so much for the good time! Will come again if ever I'm back in Worthing!”

“Stunning and charming little cafe by day, wine/cocktail bar by night. (Friday and Saturday for the bar). By far one of the best places in lewes, if not East Sussex. • The decor is brimming with authentic French antiques for the family owned antiques business next to it. • The food is amazing, headed by Pete the chef who has clearly knows his stuff • The wine is sensational. Try the Magneric if you don't mind spending a little extra, just leave some for me! • Relaxed and happy atmosphere. It's hard to be annoyed at anything when surrounded by such beauty. There's also a huge courtyard which is so good from spring to autumn, when a rather large fire pit comes out to warm up the pstrons. 10/10 will go again!”

“Staff member noticed we were waiting outside offered us a table and accommodated us as a group of 5. The cafe was busy but service was good. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very welcoming and friendly would definitely recommend, such a lovely vibe. Food was good, we all had full English breakfast x 2 tea, 1 x latte and 2 soft drinks.”
