“Recovering from lockdown tonight, The Club was quiet by the time I got there, at about 9.40. It"s very relaxed - not covid- careless though, as befitting a mature clientele - and the barpersons are excellent and bar steward Mick Batchelor and sidekicks Josh, Caroline, Hannah and Paul are amusing and friendly. Whenever my friends come they are always pleasantly surprised at the staff, the nice atmosphere and cheap drinks. I love it and people mix a fair bit,the bantz is great and the food is excellent value too. Lindfield has many virtues and this Club is certainly not the least. The quizzes every 2nd Sunday are fun and will exercise your brain and Bingo is a perennial treat each Monday with theatre trips a rarer but no less enjoyable treat. Support your local Club, as a James Garner film once enjoined us: you won't regret it. P.S. Did I mention the quiz? Brilliant AND bespoke. Big snowball prize? “A very friendly, relaxing club. Cheap membership. Free Friday evening function room. Pool table. Snooker room. Dart boards. Entertainment every Saturday night. Sunday dinners with all the trimmings. What more can you ask for. Love it.”

“What a great venue. First visit so had no idea what to expect. Lots of public transport access by both train and bus, however Car parking is problematical. Easy to navigate, lots of staff and friendly fans. There are Drinks and food outlets and Toilets. There's good disabled access and purpose built areas for wheelchair users. It's deceptively small until you realise it accommodates 33 000 supporters. As expected you can find a club Shop and there are hospitality suites which can be hired.”

“Really great show and great atmosphere. My family were here visiting so I wanted to take them to the Christmas comedy show. I’d been to the comedy show before and loved it and they really enjoyed themselves as well. The staff were lovely and kept coming over and asking if we needed anymore drinks and if everything was going well. Would highly recommend if you’re visiting Brighton or even if you live in Brighton and you want to do something fun on the weekend!”

“My favourite place in town cause I t just feels like home. The Club is definitely a place to be cherished as Brighton’s only diy venue and community centre. So many activities take place at the Cowley and everything is run by volunteers. Amazing gigs, tasty food nights, bar nights while you can meet like minded people. Stop by, ring the bell, a volunteer will open the door for you and GET INVOLVED! This is a safe space!”
