“We love Coffee Camp, before lockdown we would go and have coffee and cake, weekly. Lovely space, lovely people, lovely coffee. Their veggie sausage rolls are fantastic but their Chai Latte is the best ever! During lockdown we’ve had bread and cake deliveries for us, as vulnerable people, and to be delivered our daughter and son in law (also vulnerable as expecting their first baby) - the bread/cake boxes are amazing! We are so happy to hear that CC are about to do coffee again (in take away form) and we will be going to get our coffee/cake treats from them. Thank you Coffee Camp”

“Excellent coffee at Ground Coffee House. It's nice to find somewhere where I can buy both decaf and normal coffee and both are really good quality. The service was friendly, and there was a nice looking selection of cakes, muffins, etc as well. There is a small amount of seating inside, as well as offering takeaway. If you buy a Keep Cup, they were offering your first coffee free when I was there.”

“We loved the Sunbeam cafe. Nicely situated not far from the seafront, lovely friendly staff, and the food was excellent with substantial portions. We ordered jacket potatoes and toasties which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows was delicious. We visited twice and would definitely eat there again when we visit Eastbourne.”

“My current fav, independent coffee, based in Brighton Lanes, Sydney Street. Visited during 2021 & 2022. Exceptional mocha aswell as perfect flat white & smooth latte. Takeaway roasted beans, which they kindly offer to grind for your taste.”

This place is more of a breakfast and lunch kind of cafe that does a nice full English, cakes, sandwiches etc, rather than a fancy coffee place that does amazing coffee, not that there's anything wrong with their coffee! Just keep in mind this is a really good, old school cafe, not one of Brighton and Hoves many hipster cafes (which I also enjoy for what they are) Service is polite and quick, the place was clean and even though it was pretty full when we were there, it was still fairly quiet and relaxed.”
